MAGU IN—interior walls even for construction novices!
The MAGU interior wall system is an ideal solution for building lightweight, non-load-bearing walls in no time at all—even by those with no construction experience. Although the walls are simply glued in place—meaning there’s no need to drill or use anchors—they are still very sturdy.
The walls can be further processed as follows:
1. Felting and Painting 2. Applying a high-quality plaster finish 3. Installing Tiles
The MAGU interior wall system is moisture-resistant and can therefore be installed without any problems even during the early stages of structural work.
The MAGU interior wall is also an ideal partition for the basement or garage.
The MAGU interior wall system is very simple and can therefore be installed quickly and easily by plasterers, drywall installers, or any other tradesperson or DIY enthusiast.

How the MAGU Interior Wall Works
Composite structures using a sandwich construction—consisting of a supporting core and upper and lower skins—are known, for example, in the aerospace industry. These composite structures offer the highest structural strength—the greatest moment of inertia—with minimal weight.
The MAGU interior wall operates on this principle and derives its exceptional strength from the composite construction of the MAGU grid panel with its special fiber-reinforced plaster facing layers on both sides. The sandwich construction is created on-site by applying the fiber-reinforced plaster, making the system simple, flexible, and quick to install.
The standard wall thickness is 10 cm. For tall partition walls in halls or warehouses, MAGU grid panels are also available in thicknesses of 15 cm or 20 cm. This not only improves sound and thermal insulation but also significantly increases the wall’s stability.
‚Honeycomb‘ composite structure—the design principle behind the MAGU interior wall.
MAGU IN – Video: Here's How to Build Interior Walls the Smart Way!
You can see how the MAGU interior wall is assembled using the patented snap-fit system in the video.
The MAGU interior wall can be assembled securely and sturdily without any drilling or screws. This means it can also be disassembled without leaving any residue.
The MAGU interior wall is completely moisture-resistant and is therefore also very well suited for basement walls or bathrooms.
This stability also allows for the secure mounting of sinks with vanity cabinets or wall cabinets.
MAGU IN — Here's What's Next
Finally, the wall is either simply primed and painted or finished with ready-mixed plaster.
Skylights or cutouts can be easily cut out using, for example, a handsaw or a jigsaw
Interior doors are installed with the door frame, aligned, and sealed with foam.
Support the door frame properly until the door foam has set.
Niches are created by combining, for example, 10-cm and 15-cm grid panels.
MAGU interior walls are simple and flexible to build and design, yet very sturdy
The fiberglass mesh with its undercut grooves gives the wall tremendous stability
Even tall walls are exceptionally sturdy once they have been plastered
Plumbing will be integrated into MAGU IN
The wall is plastered and textured.

The MAGU interior wall undergoing a practical load test. The bench in the left-hand image was secured to the 10-cm-thick MAGU interior wall using just 4 Würth W-ID 95 insulation anchors. In a practical test, the bench easily withstood a load of more than 160 kg!
In the photo on the right, two employees are standing on a 10 cm-thick MAGU interior wall that is 1.20 m wide and 2.40 m high. The interior wall can support a weight of more than 160 kg without significant deflection. Try doing that with a lightweight drywall partition or a brick interior wall made of aerated concrete.
The ‚Honeycomp‘ composite construction ensures exceptional stability.
MAGU IN - It doesn't get any easier than this:
The grid panels are adhered to the dust-free surface using installation foam.
The second row of panels is installed in a staggered pattern; the panels lock together via the interlocking grid.
The wall panels are simply snapped together using the grid.
A level is used to check the alignment layer by layer
In addition, each layer is secured with assembly foam.
The structural wall will be up in a few hours.
Aligning Vertically Using a Spirit Level
The final layer is cut to size and glued in place.
The miter joints are simply glued together with construction foam.
You can cut out conduit using a soldering iron
Electrical boxes are cut out and secured with MAGU anchors
The MAGU fiber filler is easy to apply
The fiberglass mesh with its undercut grooves gives the wall tremendous stability
Even tall walls are exceptionally sturdy once they have been plastered
The Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics IBP conducted a preliminary airborne sound measurement on the MAGU interior wall. With a rated sound reduction index of Rw 31.2 dB according to DIN ISO 10140-2:2010, the result exceeded our expectations and confirmed our practical experience.
Weighing about 20 kg per square meter, our MAGU IN is a true lightweight among interior walls. Thanks to its rigid sandwich structure, it nevertheless achieves a very good sound insulation rating of 31.2 dB. This makes MAGU IN comparable to a single-sheeted gypsum board stud wall or a non-load-bearing aerated concrete wall.
Our MAGU IN thus exceeds the requirements of VDI Guideline 4100:2012-10 for apartments with Sound Insulation Level II (SST EBII) and is therefore the ideal partition wall for all areas within an apartment or house.
With a pre-glued drywall panel, the MAGU IN can also be easily upgraded or retrofitted to achieve even better sound insulation performance.
