Basement Ceiling Insulation

Simple, fast, and efficient:
MAGU Basement Ceiling Insulation

MAGU basement ceiling insulation consists of a high-quality,
Neopor insulation boards with a perimeter tongue-and-groove joint.

The panels are simply screwed into the ceiling structure using the special retaining clip—without creating any thermal bridges—and then slid into the perimeter groove.

If necessary, the underside can be plastered or painted with a simple emulsion paint, depending on individual requirements.

Real-Life Photos

The mounting brackets are screwed into the ceiling along the wall.
The panels are slid into place and secured with another clamp.
Tubes or pipes are cut using a soldering iron (MAGU accessory).
This allows the basement ceiling to be insulated so that it is level and free of thermal bridges.
Sheets are cut with a hand saw or a hot-wire cutter
This ensures that the basement ceiling is safe and exceptionally well insulated throughout in no time.
Any gaps or cracks are carefully filled with construction foam.
If desired, the ceiling can then be plastered or simply painted with emulsion paint.

MAGU Basement Ceiling Insulation - Available Formats

MAGU basement ceiling insulation is supplied in 100 x 120 cm sheets.

Available thicknesses are:
MAGU Neopor insulation has a lambda value of 0.031 W/mK and a specific compressive strength of 150 kPa.

In addition to securing the panels with mounting clips, they can also be bonded using a PU adhesive or high-quality PU foam. It is important that the ceiling surface is sturdy and dust-free so that the adhesive will adhere properly. The panels can be secured using battens or telescopic mounting supports.
