The MAGU venetian blind box or external venetian blind box is made of high-quality Neopor insulation material. Thanks to its very low thermal conductivity, it is the ideal housing for your external venetian blinds and venetian blinds, even in a passive house.
All types of blinds are securely and permanently screwed into the weather-resistant, lightfast foam plastic profiles. The panels do not swell when exposed to moisture or humidity.

Planning the Blind and External Venetian Blind Boxes
When planning the right blind box, it’s important, of course, to consider the correct wall thickness, but also to ensure that the blinds have enough space inside the box. The standard width of the MAGU blind box is 15 cm—so even wide slats up to 90 mm can fit comfortably. The height of the entire blind assembly can be found in the following table for reference. The wider the slat, the more it covers, and the fewer slats the blind requires, which in turn reduces the package height. For very tall windows—for example, 5 m—we also manufacture blind boxes with shaft heights of up to 37 cm!
