The MAGU ventilation unit is a decentralized ventilation system for controlled residential ventilation with Heat recovery of up to 90%
Using multiple units in pairs allows for the ventilation of entire residential units or buildings.
When operating in heat recovery mode, the ventilation unit operates in two intervals. During the first interval (exhaust phase), the fan operates in exhaust mode to expel room air through the ventilation unit to the outside. As it does so, the air flows through the ceramic heat storage unit inside the ventilation unit, heating it up. During the second interval (supply air phase), the ventilation unit reverses the airflow direction, and fresh outdoor air is directed into the room through the ventilation unit. As it does so, the air flows through the heat storage unit, which releases the previously stored heat back into the air. This process enables heat recovery of up to 90%. The principle of charging and discharging a heat storage unit is referred to as regenerative heat transfer. When a single unit is in operation, either positive pressure (supply air phase) or negative pressure (exhaust air phase) is created in the room being ventilated, depending on the operating phase. To ensure a balanced ratio between supply and exhaust air volumes, the use of EventAir units in pairs is recommended. The EventAir control system enables the simultaneous operation of up to two pairs of units.
