Component 3 for MAGU lightweight concrete
Cement: Portland Cement CEM I 42.5 N-SR3
Lightweight—easy to install. Can be used on floors to fill gaps, in wet areas, for leveling and insulating floors, slag floors, or wooden beam ceilings, for leveling out unevenness, as a subfloor for floor-level showers, etc.
Easy to install, quick to walk on, and durable.
Material
Cement-bound leveling insulation containing crushed EPS beads and additives.
Yield
200 liters of ready-mix material per bag of mixing components yields approximately 2 m² of mix at a 10 cm installation thickness.
Substrate
The substrate must be structurally sound and clean. The structure must be waterproofed if the substructure is susceptible to moisture.
Mixing Instructions
MAGU AD 200 / AD 560 can be mixed using all standard screed pumps, forced-action mixers, and free-fall mixers. The mixing time depends on the mixer’s design. To ensure a uniform composition of the mixed leveling insulation, mix the entire batch at once. Use only clean water. Add approximately 15–20 liters of water per 200 liters of granulate, additive, and 1 25-kg bag of cement. Do not mix any other substances or chemical additives into the dry material during processing.
Installation Instructions
MAGU AD 200 / AD 560 can be applied seamlessly, either horizontally or on a slope, and, depending on its consistency, can be leveled or smoothed using a screed or a trowel. The temperature of the air, substrate, and material must be at least 5°C during installation. Application thicknesses of more than 40 cm are easily achievable. The freshly applied insulation must be adequately protected against premature drying or adverse weather conditions. Low temperatures and high humidity delay the setting process.
